A shopkeeper was left
counting more questions than money after closing her business for the day and discovering that a substantial amount of cash had disappeared from the till.
According to her account, business had been unusually busy, and she only noticed the shortage while balancing the day’s sales.
She initially suspected that she had made a calculation mistake.
After counting the money several times and checking her records, however, the figures reportedly refused to balance. More troubling was that only a handful of people had access to where the cash was kept.
Her attention eventually turned to someone she had trusted for years.
Trust turns costly
The shopkeeper says she confronted the person but initially received no satisfactory explanation about the missing money.
Frustrated, she shared the experience with another trader, who told her about a beneficiary of Dr Tambiku’s traditional business services.
The beneficiary reportedly narrated how she had sought Dr Tambiku’s help after experiencing unexplained losses at her own business.
The shopkeeper says she was subsequently introduced to Dr Tambiku and sought a business protection and theft-related service, hoping to establish what was happening and prevent further losses.
According to her account, information later emerged that helped her understand where the missing money had gone.
